To commemorate 7 years since the sowing of IFOS and International Women's Day, this past March 10th we presented the “Facilitators' Guide” for the International Feminist Organizing School with the presence of popular feminist organizations from all over the world. Sandra Morán, coordinator of the Schools, shares details of the presentation: “On March 10 2023, with the participation of more than 100 people, we presented to the feminist movement and the population at large the facilitators' guide for the International Feminist Organizing School. It's a compilation of documents about popular, feminist, decolonial education and exercises that will allow us to do this work of popular education, of political formation, of formation of the political subject in communities, in organizations, in neighborhoods. We want to contribute to building the movement and to its strengthening in an area that faces various forms of violence, attacks of broader conservative thinking, where neoliberal capitalism is strengthening and displacing all peoples and communities from their territories, and where women keep facing violence, discrimination, racism, exclusions, and where we have feminist economy as an alternative proposal. “This book is the complement to a book presented last year with the political discussion documents about our reality and about the ideas of how to strengthen our movement and present the feminist economy to the population as an alternative proposal to what we're experiencing.” The creation of the Political Formation School that contributes to the popular global feminist movement was a result of the alliance between Grassroots international, the Indigenous Environmental Network, and the World March for Women.
