A necessary tribute, that was the intention 150 years after the birth of the Russian revolutionary Alexandra Kollontai. Women from all over the world, organized to join a brigade to know the reality of their Venezuelan sisters, to walk together their streets, their fields, their communes, to drink from their experiences, to tell the truth to the world. From Cuba we arrived with our heart and soul ready to build, to contribute to learning and we found a warm people, lovable, organized and hopeful. A people who do not lower their heads, who do not give up, a people resilient and in resistance. It was beautiful to share with women who are protagonists of their destiny, who build a feminist socialism from the base, that put life at the center, covering human needs with collective and diverse solutions, applying precepts of feminist economics as an alternative to the capitalist and neoliberal system, showing women from more than 20 countries that it is possible. In our analyses we agreed that they are unique recipes, that we do not start from the same realities, that the challenge in Venezuela itself is great but that we must storm the heavens, dream big, to build the future we want. That is why the commitment to the future takes aim at topics as varied as socializing knowledge concentrated only in certain social sectors, preventing obstetric violence, accompanying the processes of population growth, de-romanticizing motherhood. About our proposals: A brigade for exchange between Venezuela and Cuba was proposed, carrying out an event, the impacts of the blockade on feminisms, alternatives and challenges in which countries with sanctions and blockades would participate along with those countries that want to join in solidarity. To build connections for learning about feminist and community communication, to deepen the feminist perspective in communication. Education with a Popular Feminism module to take to all countries, to include a training for trainers and issues that are affecting us, such as religious fundamentalisms and policies of collective care and self-care, feminist economics, building of protocols. The creation of the Center for Studies on Internationalist Popular Feminism: Alexandra Kollontai, with its publisher that would have as its first task to publish a report on the first brigade. And last but not least the dream, that the steps of the next Brigade will reach Cuba.
