We, women, are awake, resisting, weaving, and producing life daily, as well as responses to the blows with which day after day the usurpers of popular power have hit us for many centuries. We believe in our collective strength and the solidarity among peoples. For this reason, we have joined other social movements in the countryside and in the cities, and have developed articulation processes and joint actions as parts of a fundamental strategy for strengthening our struggles in the region. These struggles continue to be for the sovereignty of our peoples, the defense of the common goods, an economy for life and not for profits, and relationships without exploitation, oppression and discrimination. In our region, today this gets translated into confronting the right-wing assaults organized through neoliberal, antidemocratic and conservative policies. In this sense, it is crucial to affirm our solidarity, particularly with Venezuela and Cuba, which live under imperialist attacks. Today, more than ever, our response is to continue moving towards integrating people through the construction of mobilizations capable of forging popular power.
