Dignity March
The World March of Women in Guatemala: Sector de Mujeres, joined the Dignity March for Justice and Peace, which began on May 1st and ended May 9th in the capital, Guatemala City.
Feminist Movements, of women, peasants who are the ancestral authorities, human rights organizations and social movements in general organized more than 1,500 walkers who traveled on foot for 9 days, walking approximately 100 kilometers to demand an end to corruption and to defend their collective rights to the land, which have been stripped and dispossessed of by the corporate business sector.
