This territory where women and men of all ages and identities are in constant struggle and resistance, this territory of Abya Yala, in a permanent action of decolonization and depatriarchalization, faces the effects of neoliberal capitalism. From this territory, where the political proposals of the people pave the way and face fascism, the conservative right seeks to regain control of what they consider "their territories,” where citizenship and voting have meaning in the north, center, and south of this territory, we are fighting for politics to recover ethics and promote action for the common good. In this territory, we are defending our territories from looting and violent and deceitful land grabs perpetrated by companies and governments. We denounce femicide and violence in our lives, getting rid of the "can’t", the "don't know", and the "shouldn’t,” dismantling persistent obstacles and facing situations of poverty, extreme poverty, and lack of opportunities. In this territory, women continue to build popular feminism in an uprising, as the original people of Guatemala teach us: "When we are in the uprising, it is because we generate awareness of our situation and what we need to do". This uprising of women has manifested itself in processes such as the “green tides”, in the fight for our lives, rights, and futures. We learned from the original people to look at the future with a double vision, recognize our roots, and face the future with dignity. In this territory and this movement, we find our World March of Women, an expression organized in movement from communities with diverse identities, demands, and proposals. Based on this movement, an expression of popular feminism, we propose the justice that people build and revitalize, and we present feminist economics as an alternative to generating an economy for life towards living well. With these proposals, we thank the lives of all those with whom we built the path towards our 6th International Action together.
